REPAIR STEM CELL INSTITUTE ATTACKS “HEART DISEASE”

Our pre-Valentine’s Day Newsletter is dedicated to the history, research and results of Repair Stem Cell treatments for heart disease.  When assessing the state of stem cell treatment vs. heart disease, it is important to recognize the divergence between progress within the USA and outside of the USA.  As in virtually all stem cell vs. disease research, many countries are significantly more advanced than the USA.  In this newsletter we will show a number of examples of progress outside of the USA as well as the less advanced but positive progress within the USA.

IT ALL STARTED WITH STEM CELLS + HEART DISEASE IN RODENTS

In the research laboratory, investigators often use a mouse or rat model of a heart attack to study new therapies (see Figure 9.1. Rodent Model of Myocardial Infarction).

A second study, by Jackson et al. [3], demonstrated that cardiac tissue can be regenerated in the mouse heart attack model through the introduction of adult stem cells from mouse bone marrow…

This study suggests that mouse hematopoietic stem cells may be delivered to the heart through bone marrow transplantation as well as through direct injection into the cardiac tissue, thus providing another possible therapeutic strategy for regenerating injured cardiac tissue.

More evidence for potential stem cell-based therapies for heart disease is provided by a study that showed that human adult stem cells taken from the bone marrow are capable of giving rise to vascular endothelial cells when transplanted into rats [6]…

Like the mouse stem cells, these human hematopoietic stem cells can be induced under the appropriate culture conditions to differentiate into numerous tissue types, including cardiac muscle [10]

(see Figure 9.2. Heart Muscle Repair with Adult Stem Cells).

HEART DISEASE vs STEM CELLS

HISTORY

Heart Disease and Repair Stem Cells have a long history that many people do not fully remember. This month RSCI is focusing on Heart Disease education, awareness and treatment options available TODAY!

1998

Dr Doris Taylor took stem cells from the thigh of a rabbit, injected them into scar tissue in the animal’s heart and repaired the damaged muscle.  The research was published in Nature Medicine.

REPAIR STEM CELLS

PROVEN EFFECTIVE FOR HEART DISEASES:

Congestive Heart Failure, Angina, Cardiomyopathy

When considering the progress of Repair Stem Cell treatment vs. disease, please recognize that heart disease has the longest history and the most qualitative and quantitative results of all diseases considered (excluding the 40+ years of successful Repair Stem Cell rich bone marrow transplants utilized to combat leukemia and cancer).

The VesCell procedure, the world's first stem cell procedure to commercially treat zero-option heart patients, is now also the first and only stem cell treatment in the world to have the results of commercially-treated patients' scientifically verified.  These results are in direct contrast to the years of newspaper and medical journals, scientists and doctors in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia incorrectly alluding to the benefits of Repair Stem Cells as “unproven.”  The many studies conducted by VesCell are the best source of rigorous data for actual Repair Stem Cell treatments vs. Heart Disease conducted in non-laboratory controlled scenarios.

There are now five peer-reviewed published papers written by Israelis and Thais showing that the VesCell stem cells are far superior in treating later stage heart diseases than anything a contemporary cardiologist has to offer; including medications, angioplasties and bypass operations.

VesCell developed a unique type of Repair Stem Cell known as "angiogenic cell precursors” (ACP).  While they are very expensive to produce, they are also extremely potent and currently available only in the VesCell procedure. The results of the VesCell stem cell treatments, producing significant improvements in over 2/3 of patients treated, are detailed in three peer-reviewed, published scientific papers.

For example, Minneapolis Heart Institute co-founder Dr. Kitipan Arom’s team treated well over 100 no-option cardiomyopathy patients and late stage Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) patients from 2005 through 2009.  Their paper describes the results of 41 end stage cardiomyopathy patients treated with ACPs, using a procedure originally developed by Dr. Amit Patel while at the University of Pittsburgh.  The study showed improvements virtually across the board.   To download Dr. Kitipan's paper, click here

When Will We Be Able To Get Repair Stem Cells?

Previous cardiac clinical trials express that heart disease patients who receive their own Repair Stem Cells have the best chance at an improved quality of life.  The peer- reviewed papers are further proof that Repair Stem Cells should be available to every heart patient as the gold standard medical treatment.  The fact that stem cell therapy is still not available to all of the millions of heart patients around the world may indeed be a travesty, but it is correctable.

Where Can I Get these Repair Stem Cells?

These powerful stem cells have been refined by over half a decade of implementation in some of the world’s most advanced treatment centers in hospitals in Bangkok, Singapore and Latin America.  To read more about these available stem cell treatments, read one or more of the following documents: (These files are available from the RSCI Downloads Page as well.)

RSCI HEART BENEFICIARIES – Cont’d

RSCI has helped to educate thousands about the therapeutic benefits of Repair (adult) Stem Cells.  Patients battling debilitating diseases and their families and friends have been empowered on how to take the steps towards making life-improving decisions.  Many patients have been helped by RSCI, received Repair Stem Cell treatments and are showing significant improvements.  With the inclusion of Vescell as an RSCI star, JAMES EILERT is now one of VesCell’s most impressive Repair Stem Cell beneficiaries!

JAMES EILERT

NYHA Class III Congestive Heart Failure

Heart Muscle Health Aspects You Should Consider

Dying Tissue Rejuvenated by Adult Stem Cells Injected into the Patient’s Heart

Heart muscle health aspect from James Eilert story

James Eilert, a young man, who was a victim of the heart disease epidemic that is increasingly taking hold around the world, has been given a second chance at a healthy life thanks to VesCell adult stem cell therapy.  In 2006, at the relatively young age of 34, James experienced a major heart attack. His left anterior descending artery (or what the doctors call the ‘widowmaker’) was 100% blocked. The heart attack left him with severe damage to his heart. A normal ejection fraction is generally considered to be 65% for a man in his 30s. At the tender age of 34, James’ ejection fraction had sunk to 20-25%. The doctors diagnosed him as being in Class III NYHA Heart Failure, meaning severe physical disabilities.  The only options for Class IV patients are a heart transplant or an early death.

James did not want to die, but figured dying would be a better option than living as he was. That was when James stumbled upon VesCell on the Internet. Already a patient at the world renowned Henry Ford Heart and Vascular Institute in Detroit, James was shocked to find out that Dr. Barbara Czerska, the Medical Director of the Heart Failure Transplant Program at Henry Ford was featured prominently on the VesCell website. That, along with reading that recent medical research indicates that dead heart tissue can be ‘awakened’ by the implantation of adult stem cells gave James new hope.

He contacted VesCell and Dr. Czerska and prepared for his trip to Bangkok, Thailand to receive a new shot of hope using his own adult stem cells.

After arrival in Bangkok, James, along with his father, were well taken care of by the VesCell team and the doctors and nurses at Phyathai 2 Hospital. James was treated by Dr. Damras Tresukosol, the director of the Phyathai-Harvard Heart Center and also the lead investigator of VesCell’s clinical trial using APCs which was presented at the American Heart Association annual meeting in 2006.  Treated on November 14, 2007, James received 41 million of his own stem cells via catheter to heal his damaged heart muscle.

Told by doctors that the cells would take approximately 6-8 weeks to take affect, James was pleasantly surprised– just 1½ weeks after his stem cell treatment, James had an echocardiogram and found out his previously dead part of his heart had life again….

CALIFORNIA EMBRACES REPAIR STEM CELLS FOR HEART DISEASE

Bioethics: Five years after a budget-busting $3 billion was allocated to embryonic stem cell research, there have been no cures, no therapies and little progress. So supporters are embracing research they once opposed… (Adult/Repair Stem Cells).  Click here for full story: http://repairstemcell.wordpress.com/2010/02/02/investors-com-californias-proposition-71-failure/

Researchers at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center will use their grant to research injecting heart-attack patients with concentrated amounts of their own cardiac stem cells that naturally repair heart tissue.

Dr. Bernadine Healy, director of the National Institutes of Health under Bush 41, wrote in her U.S. News & World Report column recently “embryonic stem cells, once thought to hold the cure for Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and diabetes, are obsolete.”

Even worse, Embryonic Stem Cells (ESC) can be dangerous, something USA doctors, scientists, newspapers, magazines and medical journals are not allowed to tell you.  ESC are difficult to control, to coax into the specific type of tissue desired. Unlike Repair Stem Cells taken from a patient’s own body, ESC require the use of immunosuppressive drugs. Their use can lead to a form of tumor called a teratoma... and they are extremely expensive to produce.

When Geron, America’s leading ESC Company, announced an FDA approved clinical trial for spinal cord patients last January, every controlled newspaper was cheering the future of ESC.  Conversely, RSCI’s founder IMMEDIATELY announced that an Embryonic stem cell trial would NOT take place.  Don was the FIRST man in America to come out publicly and call it a hoax---which it was proven to be!

RSCI EPILOGUE:

Thank you for reading the Repair Stem Cell Institute’s Newsletter!  We want to bring you up to date on the new improved stem cell treatments that are available now

In 2009, the Repair Stem Cell Institute helped thousands to learn about the safe and effective stem cell treatments available to them. Many chose stem cell treatments that the Institute recommended, and perhaps two-thirds of them are well on their way to an improved quality of life.

Not only are dozens and dozens of new stem cell protocols in use today which were not being used as of 1/1/2008, but more information is also now available. As an example, for the first time in stem cell history, scientific data proving the miraculous results the world’s first stem cell company has achieved for 400+ no-option cardiovascular patients will be available in 2010, and the Institute will be the first to have the summary data along with abstracts of peer reviewed published papers.

Parkinson’s treatments, which have been limited due to difficulty of getting the stem cells to the affected portion of the brain, will see new protocols in early 2010 which will use catheters to implant those stem cells where they will be most beneficial.  This protocol may soon apply to stroke and PPMS patients also.

Spinal Cord and Cerebral Palsy patients now have choices closer to North America than ever before, while those with Muscular Skeletal disorders such as bone, tendon, cartilage and knee problems can now be treated with Repair Stem Cells in North America.  Many of our top stem cell centers have switched from the patient's bone marrow to the patient's tummy fat to provide the strongest stem cells.

The Institute has become an all-in-one resource for widespread Repair Stem Cell information and patient education.  There is no cost or obligation for our services. We look forward to helping you.

If you are interested in learning more about how Repair Stem Cells can better help you or a loved one in 2010, click here.  We will start the information flow to you within less than 24 hours.
